Position Title: Electro-Mechanical Build Technician Full Time Position Type: Temporary

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform complex and advanced assembly of mechanical assemblies according to drawings and assembly instructions
  • Support testing and troubleshooting of assemblies, and document results
  • Install assemblies and cabling onto equipment, and validate proper functionality
  • Perform equipment modifications as directed by development and manufacturing engineers
  • Responsible for completing tasks according to project schedules

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working with design engineering teams
  • Electro-mechanical assembly experience with high-precision assemblies
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly process documentation
  • Experience routing and terminating cables
  • Works independently
  • 3-5 years industry experience
  • The role requires standing for long periods of time.
  • The role requires occasional lifting of items ranging from 20 to 50 pounds.

Required Education

  • High School Diploma - Required
  • Associates Degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering Preferred.
  • Military Technical School Training related to Electro-Mechanical Engineering helpful.
  • Certifications in Electro-Mechanical studies from an Accredited Technical/Trade School helpful.
