For almost 40 years, The Lord's Place, a social impact agency, has been working to break the cycle of homelessness by providing innovative, compassionate and effective services to men, women and children in our community.

We are seeking a Director of Reentry Services to lead our Reentry Team! The successful candidate will oversee the agency's Reentry Program, including post-release case management services as well as contracted services at Sago Palm Correctional Institute, to ensure that all participants are receiving the appropriate services that will help them end their homelessness and successfully re-integrate into society post-incarceration. Position coordinates all activities in the Reentry program including the social services programs. This position will also provide direct client service. Hours may vary including evenings and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise Reentry program coordinators, client advocates, and peer specialists, including the appropriate assignment of participants, management of caseloads, quality of services provided to participants and documentation that meets agency and contract standards.

Serve as a point of contact and leader for the agency's Reentry services within the community. This includes coordinating with other reentry providers, funders, substance abuse providers, other community housing providers, off-site counseling services, and any other services deemed necessary to resolve a participant's homelessness and reduce recidivism.

Ensure all required reports are completed timely and accurately.

Represent agency at meetings with stakeholders and in the community pertaining to Reentry.

Collaborate with agency leadership on strategic planning, quality assurance, and development of new initiatives for Reentry Program.

Ensure caseloads and documentation meet agency standard and contract requirements.

Provide assessments and conduct screenings to identify individuals that meet the qualifications of the program.

Ensure a thorough intake on all participants is done prior to them being admitted to the program, per admission criteria.

Conduct case staffings with Reentry Client Advocates and assist with providing direct services to participants as required by agency standards and contract requirements.

Work closely with the Vice President of Community Programs and all Reentry staff to ensure issues with program participants are effectively coordinated.

Track all participants' services and complete required funder reports for the purpose of measuring the success of the program in accordance with program goals and objectives, grant compliance and government regulations.

Collect and provide all necessary documentation for reporting and audit purposes.

Observe and protect confidentiality requirements with all cases.

Provide regular reviews of electronic and paper files of participants.

Provide leadership in the planning and execution of certain special events for Reentry participants and/or for community stakeholders.

Regularly review local, state and federal policy updates and advocacy issues related to re-entry and incarcerated individuals, and share this information with agency leadership.

Attend required internal meetings and trainings as assigned.

Performs additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Community Programs according to business needs.



Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or mental health counseling required.

Degree in social work or related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Computer skill, including a working knowledge of Office 97 or higher required.

Requires ability to operate business equipment used daily within the organization.

Requires ability to learn and use whatever documentation system appropriate to their program, including electronic databases to document case notes.

Requires completion of certification training within the first 90 days of employment.

Complete required trainings in LSI-r and clearances with county and state law enforcement.

May require safely lifting up to 15 lbs.

Maintain a valid Florida State drivers' license with a satisfactory driving record and eligibility for coverage under any applicable Company insurance.
