Campus Management Corporation is looking for an experienced Director, Cloud Operations to lead a talented and diverse team to provide a reliable and cost-effective cloud services/application hosting for our global operations. We are looking for someone who can go deep and broad with people and technology to set, track, and maintain the direction of the group. The Director will have an opportunity to show off his/her foresight and consensus-building skills with not just your immediate team but also to service, engineering, executive, and financial management.

The Director is highly technical and capable of offering sound and pertinent technical mentorship to their team members. Ideal candidate will have plenty of operations management experience with Cloud Services management, systems and network administration and automation in large scale-out environments as well as a proven track record of building, motivating, and managing performance of a top-notch team. We are an ISO 27001 certified organization and it’s a requirement to have excellent knowledge of ITIL, Information Security and DevOps practices.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Focused on monitoring Azure and AWS daily consumption rates
  • Drive monitoring initiatives to instantiate a cloud Reliability team to implement self healing tactics
  • Maintain Microsoft Azure cloud offerings
  • Manage internal and customer escalations when service levels do not meet expectations
  • Actively participate and lead tasks and sub-projects of the cloud migration project.
  • Lead our problem management and root cause analysis processes
  • Foster technology adoption through training and documentation
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field in Computer Science or Technology preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in complex data center or cloud operations, technical project management, client consulting, software implementation and training and/or ERP implementations.
  • 2 years of data center computing strategy and transformation management with cloud services evaluation and implementation.
  • Designing and reporting metrics and dashboards to drive SLA compliance.
  • Knowledge and experience in ITIL framework based operations and reporting
  • Advanced large-scale server and network management technology
  • Procedure and policy design, documentation, and dissemination
  • Automation and analysis of performance and reliability data
  • Understanding of global network design and Internetworking
  • Security engineering, server and network hardening, auditing and reporting
  • Vendor and contract negotiation
  • Project management, communication, and follow-through
  • Strong leadership, business, technical, analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
  • ITIL Service Manager certification a plus
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%.
