About the Business Group:
The Governments, Markets, and Trade (GMT) organization implements policy and engagement strategies with governments in major markets and key operating sites that support Intel's business imperatives and enhance Intel's corporate image.
Intel is building the foundation for technology's data-driven future and we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking regulatory policy expert to support Intel and Mobileye's global Automotive Vehicle policy and regulatory affairs efforts. In this role, the ideal candidate will blend past experience in the automotive industry to define policy and regulatory strategies aligned with business objectives that range from ADAS to Autonomous Driving. The successful applicant may also assist on Internet of Things (IoT) policy issues. The candidate will work in close coordination with the business unit's executive leaders and GMT colleagues to collaboratively define and implement a global strategic plan for success for Autonomous Vehicle and IoT policy.
Â* Drive thought leadership to support Intel's Autonomous Driving interests worldwide and mitigate negative regulatory impacts.
Â* Work closely with government relations team to implement Autonomous Vehicle and Internet of Things policy.
Â* Advise internal and external stakeholders on Autonomous Vehicle policies-strategically positioning Intel as a thought leader and trusted advisor to legislators and regulators.
Â* Leverage deep automotive policy and political expertise to influence governments and promote Intel's Autonomous Vehicle business.
Â* Collaborate with Intel engineers and GMT colleagues to understand our technology roadmap and translate these complex concepts into compelling advocacy for government influence.
Â* Apply strong leadership, negotiation and influencing skills to shape policy and political agenda of industry associations.
Â* Collaborates with GMT colleagues on policy advocacy efforts to governments, regulators, lawmakers and policy officials.

Â* 10+ years of experience in US automotive policy and regulatory processes. Experience in technology a plus.
Â* Strong technical and business background; engineering, computer science, legal, political, MBA or business degree;
Â* Ability to travel up to 20% (including international).
Â* Deep knowledge of US automotive policy and regulatory affairs processes (US DoT and NHTSA).
Â* Experience working with White House and Federal agencies. Experience with US Congress and state transportation agencies a plus.
Â* Exposure to Japan, Korea, PRC, European and UK policy and regulatory affairs processes a plus.
Â* Ability to work with global government affairs across US, EU, China, APAC, Latin America and META to influence policymakers in cohesive and results-impact manner.
Â* Deep professional networks within the automotive regulatory community.
Â* Ability to work with ambiguity and with people from a variety of cultures
Â* Ability to work with highly technical peers and concepts
Â* Excellent policy and business judgment; a high degree of discretion; strong analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong presentation skills.
