POSITION SUMMARY
The Data and Information Manager is a key position within the Office of the Provost, working with the Provost, Associate Provosts, and the General Manager of the Office of the Provost to ensure the efficient functioning and oversight of the academic life of the university. This position reports directly to the Provost. The Data and Information Manager will play a key role in administrative and organizational functions of the Office of the Provost, with a particular emphasis on report-writing, tracking, and managing key processes and workflows including faculty contracts. The Data and Information Manager will work closely with program staff to ensure timely and accurate information is maintained and available to guide planning and academic administration. The Data and Information Manager will manage databases within the Office of the Provost.

NOTES TO CANDIDATE
This position is currently virtual in response to health and safety considerations. It will be primarily campus-based when CIIS returns to in-person operations.
Working Conditions -- Duties are primarily performed in an office environment at a desk or computer terminal, typically, Monday through Friday.
Background Check -- Due to the sensitivity and requirements of this position, you should expect to undergo and be cleared of an employment background/criminal check, if extended an offer for employment. You may also be asked to provide proof of educational degree(s), licenses or credentials pertinent to the position. If your job requires driving on behalf of CIIS you will be required to provide proof of a valid driver's license.
