We are a privately owned 24-hour Emergency and Specialty Referral Hospital in Charlotte NC that offers its employees a fun, supportive work environment, terrific benefits, and opportunities for growth.

The Company: Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency is a state-of-the-art veterinary facility offering 24/7 emergency care and board-certified specialty care. Board-certified specialty services offered include internal medicine, cardiology, critical care, neurology, surgery, oncology, and ophthalmology. Our advanced diagnostic services include ultrasonography and echocardiography, electroencephalography, endoscopy, minimally invasive surgical procedures, rapid-scan CT imaging, and high field MRI, in addition to many others. We are also very excited to announce a cardio cath lab is coming soon!

  • We believe in providing exceptional patient care, compassionate client care and treating staff with respect and dedication, and they will commit to continually improve their skills and knowledge to best assist in all aspects of care.

The Position: We're looking for an experienced CSR, veterinary CSR experience is preferred but not required. The pay rate offered is $13/hr, applicants with veterinary experience may be offered a higher rate.

The Schedule: We are currently seeking applicants for our 1st shift. We have the following schedules available:

  • 3 pm- 11 pm and alternating weekends
  • 4 pm- 2 am on weekdays and alternating weekends

**As a 24/7 hospital we are open on Holidays. All CSR's will be required to rotate holiday coverage.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Comfortable using computers.
  • Experience working with customer support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Emotional intelligence, self and social awareness

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and patients as they enter the hospital
  • Answer multi-line telephone
  • Check patients in as they arrive
  • Notify technicians when patients have arrived
  • Secure all documents prior to the arrival of patients for scheduled appointments
  • Scan and save documents according to protocols
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Location: Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency is based in Charlotte N.C. This is a great place to live because of our restaurants, breweries, shopping and close proximity to hiking trails as well as the mountains and beach.
