We are currently seeking for a high energy individual to join our Customer Service team to support our outside sales representatives. In addition, we're looking for:

  • Prioritizes and manages multiple requests in a fast paced environment
  • Proactively anticipates customer's and manager's needs
  • Fields 50-100+ emails/calls daily

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Based at our location in Pittsburgh, the primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to provide the highest degree of technical support and respond to inquiries to our customers and Account Managers by accurately and professionally processing requests for price, delivery, returns, order status, order expedites, product literature, and technical product assistance.

While we provide excellent training opportunities, the qualified candidate will have:

Required Education and Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED; Associate degree or better preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service, sales and/or purchasing experience in a Manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience in Industrial Distribution or allied industry experience (Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fluid Power, Electrical, Power Transmission, Motors, and Motion Control) is preferred.
  • Proficient with software programs relating to the customer service position including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, E-mail and vendor pricing programs is preferred.
  • Working experience with Trend is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and mechanical aptitude is required to be successful in this role.
