Compliance Specialist

Role Summary

As a Compliance Specialist you will work closely with the Licensing Department and Sales & Marketing Department to ensure Rapid Response's compliance with all mandatory industry policies, regulations, and standards. This crucial role assists the organization in remaining compliant amidst ever-changing regulations, ultimately leading to the protection of customer's lives and property.

Responsibilities

• Continuously audit prospective and existing Dealer licenses to ensure appropriate compliance throughout our partnership.
• Effectively communicate to Dealers and their corresponding Dealer Support Representatives all permit-related changes affecting their accounts.
• Assist with initial research of licensing and jurisdictional requirements in other countries, as necessary.
• Ensure data maintained in the Permit Database is aligned with notes and instructions maintained by the Agency Team.
• Assist with processing Department of Defense investigations from inception to completion.
• Ability to be cross trained throughout all positions within the Licensing Department.
• Maintain and organize department files, local files, state files, and governmental ordinances and correspondence.
• Ability to maintain practices of top-level confidentiality.
• Perform other related duties pertinent to the role including but not limited to representing the Company at meetings, acting as staff support for special projects and events, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma with a minimum of four (4) year bachelor's degree.
• Approximately 2+ years experience in a professional or administrative role.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Ability to obtain security licenses in all required states, including Department of Defense Security Clearance.
• Ability to work schedule as assigned, including overtime and/or weekends if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within regulatory and compliance assurance in related field.
• Exceptional analytical, investigative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
