Position is responsible for utilizing digital applications, dashboards, and data analysis tools to track, report, and analyze capital investment spending and industrial efficiency metrics for Braskem America. The position provides support for budget and planning cycles and supports capital spending and industrial metric target setting by utilizing historical data, forecasts, and input from key stakeholders. The position focuses on the continuous improvement of industrial reliability and efficiency, spending and cost efficiency and product profitability in accordance with corporate policy and business objectives. This position requires day-to-day involvement with our Manufacturing Operations organization as well as our Controlling and Finance team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Utilize critical thinking, data analysis, and digital tools and dashboards to develop and monitor key financial and operating industrial indicators for the business.
  • Coordinate developments and improvements to the Industrial Dashboard and other industrial presentations and communications.
  • Calculate, consolidate, and analyze manufacturing global efficiency index to determine site productivity vs. forecast and plan.
  • Responsible for Industrial benchmarking analysis data sets, aligning the business with industry benchmarks, and developing result presentations on cost/performance.
  • Provide industrial and productivity analysis and tracking of costs and other reports/ analyses as needed. This includes assisting manufacturing sites with month end accounting close process.
  • Support the Capital Investment and industrial organizations with financial analysis and regular and ad hoc reporting.
  • Support the Six Sigma and capital projects team project validations & aligning on business process for supporting focused improvement/Six Sigma projects.
  • Integrates the maintenance/reliability, commercial, HES, and strategic company plans for capital projects.
  • Responsible for the yearly capital budgeting process and day-to-day prioritization of the capital project portfolio.


  • BS Degree in Engineering or Finance (with experience in a manufacturing firm)
  • 3 years of work-related experience with a minimum of 1 year in analysis type role.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues from all departments including industrial, capital, accounting, and all members of the Braskem America and Braskem SA leadership team.
  • Ability to extract, organize, analyze, and report data in a manner that is useful and relevant for making business decisions with the use of an ERP system and other data analysis and reporting tools
  • Must have good analysis skills, effective communication skills, the ability to interact well with others, and the ability to provide information to senior management in a concise format.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Powerpoint and Access skills;
  • Experience with data analysis tools and building dashboards for business reporting & analysis
  • Experience with Finance and Forecasting models.

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP experience
  • MBA
