What we're looking for in you
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Proficient understanding of computers, electronics, and electrical circuits and how they work together.
  • Basic understanding of engineering and technology including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  • Proficient understanding of mechanical systems: what they do and how they operate.
  • Proficient understanding of various design concepts.
  • Proficient understanding of documentation and recording process.
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD) software experience.
  • Experience in drafting, laying out, and specifying technical devices, parts, and equipment.


The purpose of your role as a BAS / Control System Designer

This role is responsible for the overall design for various controls projects. The role works closely with the business development area of controls to incorporate key needs of the customer/project, as well as field personnel to update aspects of designs as needed. This role is responsible for choosing the appropriate parts for all HVAC equipment in a timely manner. Previous experience work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) will be helpful in being successful in this position, as well as having previous drafting experience.
